Project overview
The product
Paylance is a bitcoin payments and rewards platform that lets you send money to the Philippines for free. It makes accepting and distributing funds across the globe super easy. From employee payrolls, supplier payouts, merchant disbursements to agent commissions and other organizational financial transactions.
The goal
Redesign the Paylance website to increase brand reputation and awareness and improve the customer experience. Help users who are returning and new users navigate and browse in the website easily.
UX Process in the Organization
This process is what we followed within the organization to have a smooth interaction with the scrum team.
Research
Before we start the Paylance website redesign, we conduct a simple interview to know the expections and insights on what to expect on the new website. We’ve identified some of the problems and address it to the new website.
User Journey
Series of experiences a user has as they interact with the product to achieve a specific goal. This will help UX designers to create obstacle free paths for users, highlight pain points and identify the areas for improvement in the design.
To plan the initial direction of the design, I created
Digital Wireframe
Digital wireframes are outlines or sketches of a product created with digital software like in this project I used Balsamiq. The goal of digital wireframes is to add enough detail to the product that users can understand its basic features and navigation. Digital wireframes focus on a cleaner structured design. Digital wireframes allow me as the designer to explore how a product will function and how a user will move through the flow, without having to design every detail.

I’ve also designed the mobile app of Paylance and got positive feedback from the Stakeholders.

Mockups are static, high-fidelity designs used as a representation of a final product.
Card Designs
Paylance Admin Tool Mockup
This internal tool is a collaborative effort with different department in the organization. I was able to interview all the involved team before I came out with the design. It’s a continues validation, interview and approval before the actual development.
Rate Ticker
I've also created the design and HTML & CSS coding for the rate ticker. This is featured in all the partner branches where user can buy and sell coins.
